Photo Gallery: 2025 Creative Writing Project and Secret Holiday Gift Giver Exchange

The ODYSSEY Media Group and the iliad Literary-Art Magazine staffs came together for a celebration of completing their Creative Writing Projects in Room 231.

Members of the iliad Literary-Art Magazine, in collaboration with members of the ODYSSEY Media Group, met in Room 231 to present pieces of their Creative Writing Projects and participate in a Secret Holiday Gift Giver Exchange.

The iliad annually hosts the Creative Writing Project, in which students of both the iliad and the OMG curate a themed project over the course of two weeks. Each project consists of poetry pieces, an open writing piece, a script or monologue and a creative art piece. During the event, each student presented one piece of their choosing, then received a gift from another student, who is their “Secret Holiday Gift Giver.”

Jay Braswell is a sophomore at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia, and is the Outreach Director for the iliad Literary-Art Magazine. Braswell hopes that her contribution to the iliad will help inspire young artists around the Athens community. When they aren’t hanging out with friends, Braswell enjoys listening to music and painting.
